Finally, an easy way to add marketing friendly keywords to your website without cluttering up your menu navigation. Create shortcuts that link directly to another tab within your DotNetNuke portal or to an explicit URL. This is similar to AOL Keywords, where marketing friendly keywords are used to link to a particular page within the website. There are three ways to use DNN ShortCuts:
1. Place the ShortCut skin object in your site skin
2. Place the ShortCut module on your home page
3. Use the ShortCut HTTP module to allow direct URL link to your shortcut (ex: www.domain.com/shortcut)
ShortCut 3.0.0 works with the DotNetNuke portal system versions 3.X
ShortCut 4.0.0 (for DotNetNuke 4.x) has been released and works for all versions of DNN 4.X
